Welcome to the Patchwork Blog
Starting a new blog can be challenging - there’s so much to cover! Where does one even begin? We could start with our inception as a company, but it’s fairly well documented on our main site…
So instead, it makes more sense to explain what we’re trying to achieve, not just by writing this blog but with the technology and products that we build. We’ll explore what we’ve been working on, what challenges we’re solving and hopefully we’ll share some interesting insight into areas that are quite often kept ‘under the hood’.
We don’t just want this blog to showcase the technology & products though - but focus on the people and the lives of everyone who plays a part in making our ambitions and success a reality. You’ll hear from people across different departments, people who’ve just joined and people who’ve been with us since the start, our founders & even our users, to get a much better understanding of not just what we’re working on, but what it’s like to work here too!

As a team who's mission is to improve the working patterns and opportunities for people within the NHS - we'd be hypocritical if we didn't have that ourselves!
We enjoy a hybrid set up, we won't ever force you to come in, but we do ask that you make an effort to see us & your team in person a few times each month! -

It always starts with an Intro with Talent! If both parties like what they hear, then we move into more of a team focused chat.
Typically, it's 3 stages across most departments and shouldn't ever last more than two weeks (diary dependant of course!)
We'll provide as much feedback as we can along the way, however - please don't be offended if we can't get back to you. We're a small team with a lot of interest & applications but will always try our best! -

Our team loves receiving well thought out applications.... we want to know exactly why you're interested in us, where does that come from & what you think you can bring to the team.
It is possible to portray this in your CV, but we find a covering letter along with your application goes a long way!
