The Role
As a Sales Director you will be leading a team of 5-8 people including SDRs, Account Executives and Pre Sales Executives, selling to healthcare providers in the UK. Depending on your experience and performance, this role will progress towards leading a team of Sales Managers.
You are a proven sales leader who successfully built, grew, supported and coached your team to grow new account acquisition. Our ideal candidate is smart, analytical, has experience scaling a company from a relatively early stage and enjoys the challenges of building revenue for high-growth companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a motivated team of SDRs, Account Executives and Pre Sales Executives to drive success
- Contribute towards leading, setting strategy, and growing an account-based and territory based SaaS sales team
- Formulate and execute on monthly and quarterly sales plans. Create and execute territory strategies to expand our reach across new accounts
- Support the team in deal design and execution to satisfy customer objectives and deliver exceptional value
- Collaborate with and coach the team to ensure high levels of engagement and continuous improvement. Coach, mentor and motivate the team, and in doing so generate revenue opportunities
- Conduct weekly forecast review and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative
- Build accountability for the effective application of our Sales methodology, both in practice and in its reflection in the CRM
- Collaborate with teams in Sales Operations, Customer Success and Product Marketing to create and implement best practices for your team
- Drive ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient
- Report to the VP of Sales / CRO
Ideal Profile
- Must be a team player
- Excellent communications and leadership skills
- 10+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development
- Experience selling to healthcare providers is a plus, but not required
- Success in building, growing and managing a highly prolific sales team
- Customer Focused – personally demonstrated that both external and internal customers are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Initiative – Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for a new and productive ways to make an impact
